Emma Tremble

GIS SPECIALIST & DIRECTOR

Our team, led by Emma Tremble, brings together a unique blend of experience in urban and regional planning, GIS and spatial coordination. Qualified in Urban and Regional Planning, followed by a specialisation in spatial services, Emma has over 15 years of experience in the spatial and town planning industry, as well as an appreciation of both public and private sector environments. This interdisciplinary approach allows us to offer comprehensive services that bridge the gap between planning principles and spatial integration.

With a focus on quality and service excellence, Map and Data Co prides itself on a reliable, personable, efficient, and an approachable style. We serve a diverse clientele across the public and private sectors, including State and local governments, town planning firms, economists, developers, environmental organisations and more.

Emma’s longstanding relationship with the Regional and Spatial Planning team (Queensland State Government) highlights her influence and expertise in shaping policy through spatial integration. Over the past 7 years, she was lead Spatial Coordinator for Shaping 2023 Regional Plan, Wide Bay Burnett Regional Plan and other draft Regional Plans, and actively worked within the Growth Monitoring Program for 4 years.

Map and Data Co provides GIS services for regional plans, planning schemes, land supply analysis and other strategic projects. We also offer an on-call, as required GIS support service for town planning and related firms, acknowledging the varying needs of our clients and provide flexibility in accessing GIS expertise without the commitment of a full-time service. Our GIS services are tailored to our clients’ needs and includes services such as development application mapping, expert evidence and court mapping, site suitability and identification, subdivisions, master plans and more.
