Emma Tremble, GIS Specialist and director of Map and Data Co, brings together a unique blend of experience in urban and regional planning, GIS and spatial coordination. Qualified in Urban and Regional Planning, followed by a specialisation in spatial services, Emma has over 15 years of experience in the spatial and town planning industry. This interdisciplinary approach allows us to offer comprehensive services that bridge the gap between planning principles and spatial integration.
Emma has accumulated a diverse range of experiences in both the public and private sectors, commencing her career with the Sunshine Coast Council, before progressing to Hatch and then Buckley Vann Town Planning (now Ethos Urban). Driven from her passion of GIS for planning, Emma proudly launched Map and Data Co in 2016. A company aspiring to leverage the power of GIS to deliver innovative solutions that enhance decision-making processes in urban and regional planning. Map and Data Co strives to provide high-quality services that blend cutting-edge spatial analysis techniques, combined with an understanding of planning principles, to ultimately deliver spatially enhanced planning outcomes.
Emma’s longstanding relationship with the Regional and Spatial Planning team (Queensland State Government) highlights her influence and expertise in shaping policy through spatial integration. Over the past 7 years, she was lead Spatial Coordinator for Shaping 2023 Regional Plan, Wide Bay Burnett Regional Plan and other draft Regional Plans, and actively worked within the Growth Monitoring Program for 4 years.
With a focus on quality and service excellence, Emma prides itself on a reliable, personable, efficient, and an approachable style. These attributes not only contribute to her success but also enhance the overall experience for her clients, ensuring that they receive the highest level of satisfaction and value from her services.
